🩸 JANUARY: National Blood Donor Month
January is National Blood Donor Month, a time to recognize the life-saving power of giving blood. In the U.S., someone needs blood every two seconds, yet only about 3% of eligible people donate each year. Winter months are especially critical—donations often drop due to weather, illness, and busy schedules, while the need remains constant.
Blood donations support trauma care, surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illness, and emergency response. One donation can help up to three people. Giving blood is one of the simplest ways to show up for your community and remind someone that their life matters.
